I have been teaching English at the sophomore level for over 10 years.   My career started out in Laredo, TX at LBJ High School, and when my husband transferred from Laredo back to his hometown of Kingsville, I was blessed to become a part of the Badger family.  I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in English from TAMUK, a Master's degree in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in English Education, and am certified by the state of Texas to teach ELAR 4-12.  I love reading and discussing reading strategies.  Writing is another passion of mine; I adore how words can have such an influence on people and culture.  I have three children, two girls(10 & 8) and a boy (5), a few cows, a pig, some chickens, and a dog; and I love being a teacher!
