Mrs. Robin Robertson

I have had the privilege of teaching at Bishop CISD for 9 years. I teach at Bishop High School.  I have taught 6th, 7th and 8th grade Maths at Luehrs Junior High School and I have taught Algebra 1, Pre-AP Aglebra 1, Geometry, College Prep Math and AP Calculus AB. I currently teach Pre-AP Algebra 1, Algebraic Reasoning, Algebra 2, and Pre-AP Precalculus.

I coach the UIL Math Teams and I am the Advisor for the Bishop Chapter of National Honor Society (NHS).  I also have the honor to serve as BHS Mathematics Department Chair.

I graduated from H.M King High School, Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the University of Tecas at Arloington. My husband, Hardy Robertson, is also a high school Mathematics Teacher at Bishop CISD. We have been married 17 years and have 2 sons.

I am a self-proclaimed Math nerd and I understand that many students enter my classroom with a not-so-favorable view of Math.  I know it can be a challenging subject for many students.  My goal for every student who enters my class is that they become better problem solvers with the ability to analyze and solve problems that will carry them throughout their lives.  When students ask, "When am I ever going to use this?", my answer is, "We're learning problem solving and you will use that for the rest of your life!"

I am looking forward to a great year with an Amazing group of Badger Students! 💚💛
