I am a highly skilled Secondary Mathematics Educator. My role as Mathematics Educator and department chair at a local school district has helped prepare me for joining Bishop High school

I come to Bishop with over 13 years of classroom experience as instructor, Math department chair and Faculty Representative to the Board of Trustees. I am adept in researching curriculum, implementing positive changes, and mentoring teachers. I would like to add that while my on the job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set that includes analytical skills and detail-oriented methods to my instruction.

I graduated from Riviera Kaufer High School and from Texas A&M University-Kingsville. My wife, Robin, is also a high school Mathematics Teacher. We have been married 15 years and have 2 sons and 4 miniature Dachshunds.

 I have a solid educational foundation and enthusiasm for educational excellence. I find it refreshing to see that Bishop CISD's focus on college and life readiness for their students after high school and I welcome the opportunity to contribute to the growth in this area.
