Jeanette Gonzalez - Place 1

Jeanette Gonzalez was elected to the Bishop CISD School Board in May 2015.  She is a lifelong resident of Bishop, Texas born to Santiaga “Jimma” Guajardo and Eduardo Serbantez.  She graduated from Bishop High School in 1988. Mrs. Gonzalez was later employed by Bishop CISD where she was the Secretary to the Principal at Lillion E. Luehrs Jr. High and then at Bishop High School until she resigned in 2008.  She has since been working at Texas A&M University—Kingsville.  She is enjoying her role as a Bishop CISD Trustee and truly serving the needs of our students, teachers, and community.

Jeanette has been married to her husband Gregorio “Tres” Gonzalez for 29 years.  They have one daughter, Denise (Bishop CISD Math Teacher), and two sons, Michael (BHS 2015 Graduate), and Adam (BCISD student); as well as a granddaughter and grandson, Leah and Rylen Gutierrez. Jeanette has been an active member in her community.  She was a former member of the Bishop Badger Athletic Booster Club and Bishop-Driscoll Little League. She is a parishioner at St. James Catholic Church where she is also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and a member of the St. James Alter Society.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, walking, and cheering on her kids, grandkids, and the Mighty Bishop Badgers!
