Mrs. Deanna Garza

Greetings!

I am a proud Bishop High School Counselor and happy to be part of the Bishop CISD family!  I have been in education for 23 years and will continue with the classes of 2024 (12th grade) and class of 2026 (10th grade) school counselor.  Prior to my school counseling journey, I was a high school teacher for 9 years.  I have been in school counseling for 13 years.  I am very passionate about students and investing into their futures.  My personal school counseling philosophy is to know all my students by name and need. My goals are to be a guiding light for all my students to help them reach their full potential.  Please let me know how I can better serve your student.

Mrs. Nelda Vilches

Hello and welcome to the Bishop High School Guidance and Counseling Page.  I have been an educator for the past twenty- nine years.  Seventeen of those years I’ve been blessed to be at Bishop HS as a school counselor.  I enjoy working and counseling with students as they prepare for their post-secondary education. For the 2023-24 school year, I will work primarily with Freshmen and Juniors.

I enjoy spending time with my husband, son, and our two feisty cats. My hobbies include reading mysteries, biking and my newest love…jogging. I look forward to working with our students for the upcoming school year.
