Christina Gutierrez is a 1986 graduate of Bishop High School, a 1992 graduate of Del Mar College with an Associate of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, a 1995 graduate of TAMU-CC with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and a 1997 graduate of TAMU-CC with a Master of Science in Curriculum and Instruction. She has 35 years of experience in education in positions such as Secretary, Teacher’s Aide, Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Curriculum Director, Assistant Superintendent and has currently served as Superintendent in Bishop CISD for 23years. Mrs. Gutierrez has faithfully served 25 years of her administrative career at Bishop CISD. She has been married to Rick Gutierrez for 35 years and has two children, Ricky, age 31, and Catherine age 21. 

Working with children academically and socially has been some of the best life experiences for her.  She enjoys teaching children to become independent problem solvers so that they can get the most out of life. She is dedicated to her students, staff, parents, the school board, and the local community.
