Before I began teaching at Bishop CISD in 2019, I worked in the animal field for 9 years. I held positions at the Texas State Aquarium as the Wildlife Rehabilitation Manager and the Veterinary Technician. Also, I worked at the Fort Worth Zoo as their lead Texas Raptor and Shorebird keeper. Currently, I teach various agricultural classes for the Career & Technology Program underneath the Veterinary Assistant Pathway. I am also the FFA advisor for Bishop CISD. I love all types of animals but my first love will always be birds especially brown pelicans. My hobbies include hiking, hunting, fishing, and searching for critters any chance I get.
