Hello, I am Laura Rivera and this will be my fourth year in Bishop teaching 8th grade math at Luehrs Junior High.  This will be the beginning of my 20th year teaching.  I have taught both science and math throughout my career and really enjoy the challenge of making math everyone's favorite class!  I have two grown boys.  One of them is a former Marine.  Semper Fi!  I am the  grandmother to a feisty little girl that fills my free time with joy.  I love to teach and encourage students to ask questions and see me anytime they need help.  I'm looking forward to a great year.
