October is Learning Disabilities and Dyslexia Awareness Month
The Texas State Board of Education (SBOE) requires, through their rule at 19 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) §74.28(f), that each school district and open-enrollment charter school provide certain information about dyslexia and related disorders to parents of students enrolled in the district or school.

Twenty-Nine BCISD Teachers recognized by TEA for Academic Achievements!
Bishop CISD is incredibly proud to announce the list of teacher candidates who have been recognized by the Texas Education Agency for the academic achievements of their students. The Teacher Incentive Allotment program was established by HB3 and is designed to recognize and monetarily reward top performing teachers with three possible levels of achievement. Twenty-nine teachers across Bishop CISD were announced with having reached one of the three levels. These teacher designations generate additional teacher-focused allotment funding totaling more than $450,000.
