So much information about the novel virus out there it's hard to determine what's really going on... As far as we know, its origin is China. Lab created or natural? I think that might be the most frightening question...

Regardless, I continue to think about civilizations of old. We are living in the age of the Internet right now. Any other age of civilization in the past would have been crippled and collapsed with a pandemic of this magnitude. The internet has allowed our world economies, our planetary heartbeat, to continue to beat. It's easy to take for granted but if we didn't have this world wide web...we might not have survived the devastation.

Only time will tell of this virus' origins and one day soon we will have a vaccine… Then the question becomes to vaccinate or not to vaccinate? Should we jump in line first? Or allow some time to pass and make sure they have the formula right? Mistakes have been made in the past with the 1955 Polio vaccine tragedy… 

So much to be thankful for, so much to be cautious about, so many questions…
